Excellent in every way. (by ameeno) |
I was really surprised that this movie is so excellent and funny in every way. There is real comedy, entertainment and action for every person to enjoy.Surprisingly for me as an adult,I found this excellent movie quite hilarious, entertaining and didactic .It is extremely unfair to see prejudice and injustice done to a great film like this, just because it was never released by Disney.Critics have been exposed that they receive money and bribes from film companies to talk positively about any movie even if it was a rubbish movie. But since this film company did not offer any bribes to film <more> |

Exciting, great environmental message, great for younger kids (by rannynm) |
In this abnormally ambitious first feature film from Splash Entertainment, Norm of the North is about Norm Rob Schneider , a Polar Bear who is able to communicate with humans. When his home, the Arctic is threatened by the evil developer Mr. Greene Ken Jeong , he must journey to the concrete jungle and convince people to save his home. This feature film offers laughs and appealing characters for young audiences and I think it also represents something bigger that older audiences will also enjoy. Cute Movie (by GirlyBaseballChick) |
OK come on now what was wrong with this movie?!? It was super cute. Kids would enjoy it I'm 36 and loved it. Some people try to be critics and well you got it wrong if you gave this movie anything less than an 8. You will love Norm, he's a fun loving bear that speaks human and loves his home and will do what it takes to save it. |
A film about the cold that warms your heart! (by johnreynolds96) |
I went with my younger sister to see this movie after she wouldn't stop talking about the lemmings she saw in an ad for the film. While, like any other children's movie, it wasn't aimed at my demographic, I still found the dialogue entertaining and more importantly the themes powerful. This movie takes on climate change and aims the issue at an audience that will shape our future on Earth, so its a favorite in my book! Plus, it has a pretty solid cast, Gabriel Iglesias was great as Stan and as always Ken Joeng's hilarious voice made his character Mr. Greene one that stood out. <more> |
CHANGE ISN'T ALWAYS GOOD (by nogodnomasters) |
I liked the cliche filled film, even if your kid didn't.Norm is a polar bear who was born with the ability to speak English, and by English I mean American English and not that stuff with foreign accents. When the ironically named Mr. Greene decides to build modern homes in the Arctic, Norm travels to NYC in an attempt to save his home and later that Grandpa thing. He meets the very do-able Vera, drawn almost anime style as they attempt to rescue everybody in this formula film. There are multiple themes about saving the Arctic and wildlife, but no mention of that global warming thing, a <more> |
